About me
Hi, I'm Gabriel, a second-year Software Engineering student based in the UK with a strong interest in interface design and creating user-centered digital experiences. My primary work is on Apple platforms using Swift and SwiftUI, though I’m always eager to explore new technologies. I have a background in photography, media, and computer science, which helps me approach design and development through a lens that values both visual composition and intuitive user interaction. I enjoy coding and designing outside of university, often exploring personal projects that let me combine creativity with problem-solving.
Recently, I developed SortLoop, an iOS app that helps users manage recycling more effectively through item scanning and local collection scheduling. The project was selected as a Swift Student Challenge winner by Apple, and it deepened my understanding of machine learning and responsive design within SwiftUI.
I’m actively exploring internship opportunities where I can grow as a developer, collaborate, and contribute to meaningful projects. I’m especially interested in roles that focus on design and development to create accessible and thoughtfully crafted products.
